It is time for me to introduce myself cause lets be honest it has been more than a hot moment since I last posted!
Hey my name is Amanda Laurence and I spend my days building killer brands and websites for amazing companies and people.
I share my office & home with my hubby (I retired him in 2019, so he works with me now!).
And because no one asked for it 😉 , here are 5 random facts about me:
1. I am a canadian girl living in the sunshine state (hey all y'all Florida girls)!
2. I am a coffee SNOB! Tim Hortons, for me all the way, I brew it at home over sugar free french vanilla, the perfect way to start the day!
3. My Favorite movie is Volcano with Tommy Lee Jones (I made my family go to the Le brea tar pits when we were in LA earlier this year, just because of that)
4. I love to learn, this is my second career, my first degree was in Architecture, and I worked in engineering for 12 years!
5. I am a nerd!! Harry Potter, Avengers, Disney, and Starwars are my love language!

What did you do while social media was down yesterday?
If you’re anything like the rest of us you were probably running around trying to figure out what to do.
Though social media is a great tool to use you need to make sure that you are elevating your other marketing resources, like your website and email marketing systems.
The biggest take away from yesterday is that you do not own social media and can’t control what happens to it, but you do own your website and can make it work for you.
